So yea, with my new awesome anime downloading app that I just got I figured I might as well try it out. And because I had seen the art on the cover of Chibi Vampire in a bookstore and I thought it looked cute I decided to go download it. Yes. Cute. Do you have a problem with that?
So anyway. The story centers around this family of vampires. More specificly the story centers around a certain vampire who, instead of sucking blood, suffers from her own blood multiplying and overflowing in the form of nosebleeds. Amusing, at the very least.
This so called vampire can eat food and walk out in the sunlight. Basically she acts like a human but she lives in a family of vampires. Because of her condition it is not so unbeliveable when she falls in love with a slightly depressed and very poor human boy.
To a vampire, blood is everything, blood is life. So it is understandable when the grandmother gets a bit freaked ot while finding out that her grandchild has such a condition that causes her to lose blood so profusely.
It turns out that she was on the right track, the blood that is lost during the blood multiplication is essentialy her life force. Even more importantly is that her blood lets the other vampires have children. You see, no vampires can have children right now – yet the older (older, like 200 years or so) vampires are dropping dead. Not good indeed.

Let’s see… What do I think…
Well I certainly liked it. And my sister is almost done and she is enjoying it. It turned out to be exactly what I wanted, some sorta cute love-comedy thing I can read out on the road. The characters were funny, and I really liked the detail put into describing the vampire’s society. Not a lot of detail per se, but enough to please me. Really, I guess I am a sucker for any good vampire story, but for the record – I do not like the sparkling kind.
So anyway if you want to read this you can read it at Mangafox HERE or if you so prefer, you can pick it up at your local bookstore.
I really want to talk about the end now… but if anyone is going to read this it would totally spoil the ending so… read it if it so interests you. If not, don’t.
It sounds awesome! I might have to go check it out.
Vampire love-com sounds interesting. And fangs are always extra points. May check it out.
What is this downloading app you are referring to?

First of all, i want to say that your blog is really beautiful. I love the theme you choose and the background picture is magnificent. ;)
I’ve read Chibi Vampire, a manga i really loved because of it simplicity and a kind love story but also of the fun it procure.
Karin is adorable with her shyness.
It changes us from usual vampires stories.
@Lylibellule
Thank you for the nice comment.
I think your theme looks good too. Very good
Tried the anime but didn’t get hooked up and dropped it after episode 2 :/
Maybe the manga is better.
True that your theme is very nice ^^
For some reason, anime & vampires kinds of turns me off just a little bit these days…*coughcough* Vampire Bund Anime…*coughcough*
@FaS
Well, comparing this and dance in the vampire bund is a very bad comparison indeed. Like apples and oranges even though they are edible (read watchable) they taste completely different (read they are completely different genres).
But if it just does not float your boat right now then so be it – I will say no more.
@Katsura-chan
Thanks for the compliment on my theme. XD
